Frederick Buechner has made annual gifts to children’s charities in excess of the aggregate annual royalties received from the annual sales of all of his books, and he plans to continue to do so indefinitely. Together with the Buechner Society of Bermuda, he asks that anyone wishing to support any of the literacy programs contact the Bermuda Community Foundation. The role of the Buechner Society of Bermuda is to be a supporter of ongoing programs and a catalyst for expanded philanthropic engagement of the island community in the fields of family literacy and literature.

Frederick Buechner and the Society do not solicit, nor will they accept, donations in support of these or other projects.
